This was the site of Immanuel Lutheran
Church of Lost Prairie, Illinois.
The congrgation organized in 1867
Celebrated its centennial August 27, 1967
And worshiped on this spot until a
Tornado destroyed the church building
December 21, 1967. This property now
belongs to the Lost Prairie Cemetery
Association.
The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken
away; Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
