Brief History of the Baptist Church Wilsonville
Rev. Wright, until his retirement, was the minister of the Baptist Church located on the east side of Wilson Avenue. Rev. Wright was a very faithful man to the church and the congregation. Sunday School classes were held every week and during the summer months the children attended summer school. The building where the Baptist Church is located was at one time the First National Bank building and several years ago Rev. Wright with the help of the congregation built an addition to the church building which is now used for church functions.
